Winner of several international awards, Alexander Chaushian now performs around the world, both as a soloist and in concert. He has recently performed at the Wigmore Hall, the Barbican Center with the Academy of St Martin’s in the Field and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and at Tokyo’s Suntory Hall. He collaborates with artists such as Pavel Vernikov, Yuri Bashmet, Diemut Poppen and Emmanuel Pahud. His partner is pianist Yevgeny Sudbin with whom he gives numerous recitals and with whom he has made recordings for the BIS label.
