Alexander Chaushian, der mit mehreren internationalen Preisen ausgezeichnet wurde, tritt heute weltweit sowohl als Solist als auch im Recital auf. Vor kurzem trat er in der Wigmore Hall, im Barbican Center mit der Academy of St Martin’s in the Field und dem Royal Philharmonic Orchestra sowie für sein umjubeltes Debüt in der Suntory Hall in Tokio auf. Er hat mit Künstlern wie Pavel Vernikov, Yuri Bashmet, Diemut Poppen und Emmanuel Pahud zusammengearbeitet. Sein privilegierter Partner ist der Pianist Yevgeny Sudbin, mit dem er zahlreiche Liederabende und Platten für das Label BIS gibt.
